Art, Drawing, News, Short Story

Today I devoted myself to creating a drawing dedicerad  the victims after the earthquake in Italy, but also the approximately 300 works of art that were destroyed.

On the artsajt Hyperallergic I read that Amatrice was worst affected by the earthquake among approximately 70 affected cities and communities in the area.

.IN DN. KP. Junior, great earthquake in Italy, I read that houses today are built to withstand quakes on 6.2 according to the Richter scale, as that hit Italy.

           Secure the Houses and Arts

Swedens Prime minister Stefan Löfven said that he wants to send emergency aid. I’m going to email the Prime Minister and suggest that we are helping Italy to “secure” the old houses and buildings and art treasures.

Many lives, and many priceless art treasures could be saved.

Or what do you say?

Ever Taste Green Butter?

                                                                                          The Green Butter

Visiting a friend in eastern Latvia, we were served the green butter on the picture, which is mixed with basil and a little salt.

Our friend is cultivates her own basil in a her own greenhouse.

We have bought own basil in a story and mixed the butter in a hand blender. I dońt know if it taste different, but I can’t feel any variance to it.

Art, Personally, Short Story

There Was Something On The Sky

             A few dags ago

It was a sunny day. On the sky there were different kind of clouds. Some were low and others were very, very high.

I was working outdoor, and when I looked up to the sky, I thought I saw something in a high, detached cloud, that draw my attention.

When I later looked at the capture, I imagine that I saw something specific.

Now I'll leave out to you to find
if you can got any picture.

I’m not going to tell what I see, but I will do the best to answer any comments.

Did I Saw Ghostbusters?

I’ve always been interested in ghost stories. I remember when I as a child saw a theatre performance of The Canterville Ghost (I still remember that name).

I like Ghost films, not only the film versions of Charles Dickens: ‘A Christmas Carol’ and the first Ghostbusters.

I was going to watch the new Ghostbusters film, but after seeing the trailer for the film, I decided to avoid it. I want to be thrilled into a made well story, not just actions.

The painted drawing I made some years ago as a cartoon on a blog. One of the characters I called “The Shadow”.

Sometimes there’s not much to say about a painting except, wow, I had a great time with this one.

Two months ago USK:MTL was out at the botanical garden for our monthly meetup. I ended up wandering off on my own and finding this pond with some slightly out of season water lilies.

It was incredibly nice painting weather. When it’s hot and dry with a nice breeze? Perfect for my kind of wet-on-dry watercolor. The paint get’s whiny if it’s humid. On a hot dry day you can easily work in layers. Less waiting around for paper to dry.

I feel like a dedicated painter would haul their gear out into the hinterlands and find some amazing vista. But sometimes you can just have a great day painting in a park at home. I was just having fun watching the fish, dragon flies and these cute turtles paddling around the pond.
